Official Launch of the Central Data Facility – 27 May 2025
With great pride and joy, we celebrated the official launch of the Central Data Facility (CDF) – the new Service and Consulting Unit for Research Data Management at the The University of Freiburg. More than 90 guests joined us for this festive kickoff event, where we introduced the vision, goals, and services of the CDF.
Following warm words of welcome from Stefan Rensing, Anika Erxleben-Eggenhofer presented the CDF and its services. Our guest speaker Jan C. Werner from the University Library gave an inspiring talk on Open Science & Open Access, sharing valuable insights and reflections.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone for your congratulations, your ideas, and your engagement with research data management. It was a truly wonderful afternoon of inspiration, exchange, and new connections.
