The CDF attended the CoRDI 2025, the conference of the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI), which took place from August 26 to 28.
In the “Infrastructures” track, members of the CDF gave a presentation on how sustainable structures can be established at universities. The abstract summarizes the key points. In this presentation, which builds on previous discussions in the AK FDM, the measures for sustainable local structures for research data management will have to be created.
CoRDI is the community meeting of the NFDI association and the consortia that have developed from specialist communities. It is a trade fair for services and infrastructures that can be used by researchers at universities and research institutions. Best practices are presented in numerous presentations.
The CDF attended CoRDI to find out about the current state of the service landscape. It met with the consortia with which UFR researchers are already in contact. New connections have been established, particularly through the recently announced funding program for data storage systems. The University of Freiburg has participated in this program.
