Members of the University of Freiburg must maintain academic integrity. All researchers are obligated to handle research data responsibly in accordance with the policies of the University of Freiburg.

As an important part of its Good Scientific Practice, the University of Freiburg has defined Open Science in accordance with the doctrine “as open as possible and as closed as necessary” as a core element of its own research culture.
