The certificate Digital Humanities is an offer at the Philological Faculty of the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg, which is aimed at the Bachelor, Master and PhD students of the Faculty of Philology. As part of this certificate, the participants acquire knowledge about digital research methods and research questions in the humanities. The main topics include applied statistics for the humanities, data visualization, artificial intelligence and other areas.
The certificate bundles the courses offered at the Faculty of Philology in the field of Digital Humanities and thus enables occupancy and recognition of the courses for the certificate, which are not offered within the respective courses of study.
